CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Feb. 13, 2017 – Old Dominion National Bank announced that it is expanding its branch network to drive organic growth and better serve its current and prospective customers with the opening of two new full-service branches at 1100 East High Street in Charlottesville and at 8601 Westwood Center Drive in Tysons Corner.
Both new Old Dominion branches offer convenient full-service banking in a modern, inviting setting. In lieu of traditional branch space, the new locations will be staffed by Retail Bankers trained to help customers with everything from customer transactions to complex account services and innovative banking solutions. Both new locations will employ two Retail Bankers and a Retail Banking Manager, and Commercial Bankers to serve consumer, business and nonprofit customers.
“In a time when consolidation is prevalent across the financial services industry, Old Dominion is thriving and expanding its market reach. We see a real desire and need in the community for a bank that’s truly focused on delivering a customer-first experience, and we’re expanding our footprint and our team to meet that need,” said Stephanie Lykins-Harvey, Director of Retail Banking. “Throughout our organization we have committed to recruiting top talent and our retail team is part of that commitment. We’re pleased to welcome our newest branch employees, who join a team with a customer-centric mindset and fully committed to exceeding customer expectations.”
The 1100 East High Street location provides Old Dominion customers with a third Charlottesville-Albemarle Region office to conduct their banking. The company also has full-service branches in North Garden and Scottsville.
“At Old Dominion, we’re focused on delivering sophisticated, customized business banking services to the Charlottesville community,” said Ginger Germani, Senior Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager. “Opening a third office in Downtown Charlottesville is a key component of this effort. We know that even as we invest in the technology, products and services that our customers want and need, the face-to-face banking service and counsel is one of the most valuable services we provide our business customers. We’re pleased to be able to offer our local customers enhanced convenience and the flexibility to bank at any of our three area branches.”
Old Dominion invites current and prospective customers to visit its new Charlottesville location and meet its newest retail management team, Emily Newton and Alan Eberle. The two come from Wells Fargo and have more than 10 years of financial services experience and are dedicated to seeing the community they live and work in thrive.
